What is a nootropic?
A nootropic is any compound that helps improve the brain in any way. Nootropics are often referred to as ‘brain boosters’ or ‘cognitive enhancers.’It was first introduced to the world in 1963 by Dr. Corneliu. Giurgea. The term was coined from the Greek nous which means “mind,” and trepein which means “to bend.”

Nootropics gained popularity because of their ability to enhance memory, boost learning ability, and assist overall brain function. All while being safe and non-toxic due to their organic nature and very definition.

Dr. Giurgea has a five-point criteria for what can be considered a true nootropic:

  • Enhances memory and the ability to learn
  • Assists brain function under disruptive conditions such as lack of oxygen and electroconvulsive shock
  • Protects the brain from chemical and physical toxins like anticholinergic drugs and barbiturates
  • Increases natural cognitive processes
  • Must be non-toxic to humans, nor stimulate or depress the brain

Nootropics are more common than you think. Caffeine, turmeric, and ginseng are just a few popular examples out of an extensive list.

What are nootropic drinks made of?
A nootropic drink is made out of a nootropic stack. From the name itself, a nootropic stack is a combination of two or more nootropics to create certain results. The science behind nootropic stacking requires each ingredient to support the other. Which means that each ingredient is chosen for its individual effects as well as its ability to work with other ingredients. It’s not a proper stack without this kind of synergy.

Nootropics can either be synthetic which are produced in a laboratory or naturally occurring from plants or herbs. MindFX Science’s stack is the latter, all natural and organic.

How do nootropic drinks work?
The synergy of the ingredients is the key to creating an effective nootropic drink. It requires two things: (1) the exact amount required from an ingredient to result in optimal performance; and (2) how they work in concert with each other to reach maximum results.Nootropics mainly work on increasing your brain energy, brain signaling, brain blood supply, cell health, brain fatigue, and brain repair. Which means that each stack should contribute one way or another to these properties.

What’s inside MindFX Science and how does it work?
The ingredients in MindFX are made for supporting your brain with maximum nutrients and energy so it can perform its best. We picked the best natural nootropics to improve cerebral blood flow, neurotransmission, and overall cognitive functions.

Organic Beet Powder

Beetroot is known to improve the amount of oxygen the muscles absorb during physical activities. The better your oxygen distribution is, the more energy you get.

Vitamin B12

B12 plays an important role in supplying your cells with adenosine 5'-triphosphate (ATP) a.k.a, the energy our cells run on. Maintaining ATP for our nerve cells is crucial for synaptic transmission. You’ll feel more energized physically and mentally with the right amount of ATP being supplied to your cells.

Rhodiola Rosea

R. Rosea is an herb that promotes physical and cognitive vitality. In a 2016 study, some students underwent a psychomotor test to observe their reaction time and the results showed that R. Rosea helped shorten reaction time and total response time on top of an increase in correct responses.

Caffeine

This widely consumed stimulant has been proven to enhance problem-solving abilities, mood and alertness.

Ginkgo Biloba

Ginkgo biloba comes from the ginkgo tree or maidenhair tree, one of the oldest species of trees in the world. This herb promotes good blood flow and therefore helps improve memory, concentration, and other mental faculties.

Theobromine

According to research, theobromine positively enhances our mood and our state of alertness. It is also used to relax the muscles in the lungs, increasing the oxygen flow to the brain.
